DISAPPEARANCE COVERAGE:

Homeowner policies typically exclude coverage for disappearance of jewelry items.

A deductible is the portion of covered expenses that you are responsible for paying out of pocket before your insurance coverage begins to apply.

For example, if your jewelry insurance deductible is $1,000 and you incur $10,000 in damages, the insurance company will cover $9,000, and you would be responsible for paying your $1,000 deductible.
